Seethrough Sonic

This sculpture was a project I did for my 3D concepts class. The main materials we were supposed to use was plastic wrap and packaging tape. the whole idea was to create a sculpture out of items that like and use the idea of transparency to add in something that you would not normally see.

i didn't too well with the new perspective part. But I did manage to make an okay sculpture of Sonic. I decided to go along with a notion I once had back in high school. My idea was that life was really a video game. It's like a Sims game, only we are the ones being controlled. So what I did was reverse roles here by having Sonic play the game which is actually the real world we live in. I focused more on "why do we really do the weird things that we do." So I know it's hard to see, but one of the people that is in the tv has duct-taped herself, and her friend is standing there wondering why she did such a thing.
